The Geo Redirect service allows you to redirect a webpage to another URL based on the visitor’s location.
Geo redirection is specifically useful for global companies wanting to redirect their visitors to the correct country website or for smaller businesses that just want to redirect a particular page of their website based on visitor location.

Free vs Paid
The Geo Redirect service is free to use however the free service will come with a 5 second delay page on redirect. The 5 second delay page will contain a link to Geolify. This delay cannot be changed.
To remove the 5 second delay page and make the redirect instant, impressions will need to be purchased.

The URL of your website where the visitor will land and be redirected from. The URL must include http: or https: depending on if you have an SSL certificate.
Redirect All Pages
If this option is ON, then the URL and all including subpages will have the redirect active.
To redirect your entire website, the Landing URL should be your main domain and the Redirect ALL Pages should be ON.
If this option is OFF, the only the Landing URL specified will have the redirect active.
If this option is ON, the entire redirect setup will be active.
If this option is OFF, the entire redirect setup will be inactive
Use this option to easily turn OFF the entire redirect rather than removing the code from your website each time you want to disable the service.
Geo Redirect 1,2,3….
These Geo Redirect panels allow you to configure URL redirect – location pairs. You can add unlimited number of URL redirects by clicking the ‘+ Redirect’ button at the bottom of the setup page.
Easily turn ON or OFF the specific redirect rather than removing it altogether.
If this option is ON, the specific redirect will be active
If this option is OFF, the specific redirect will be inactive
The location selector allows you to include or exclude countries, states, cities and IP addresses to create a location segment.
To include a location, select its type ‘country, state, city or IP address’, select ‘Equal To’ , then type the country, state or city name or IP address in the input field and then click add.
If entering a country, state or city name, start typing and the names will appear automatically in a drop down list from which you can select.
To exclude a location, simply select ‘Not Equal To’ instead using the procedure above.
The locations box shows the included and excluded locations that creates the targeted location segment.
Included locations are shown by a ‘+’ and excluded locations are shown by a ‘-‘.

To remove a location, select the location and click ‘Remove’.
You can also import locations from a csv file using the ‘Import’ button. See location segmentation for more information on how to import.
The URL which the visitor will be redirected to if they match the location segment. It must contain http: or https:.
Redirect Code (For non SSL domains)
If you website is not SSL protected you can use this script. Paste the script in between your website’s opening and closing HEAD tags. For the fastest performance, the script should be pasted JUST AFTER the opening <HEAD> tag.

If you website is SSL protected you can use this script. Paste the script in between your website’s opening and closing HEAD tags. For the fastest performance, the script should be pasted JUST AFTER the opening <HEAD> tag.
Redirect ID (For WordPress plugin)
If your website is built using WordPress you can download our WordPress plugin and paste this redirect ID into the Geo Redirect ID box.
The WordPress plugin will automatically create the script in your website’s HEAD using the redirect ID.
The testing panel allows simulation of a location to allow you to test how the redirects will behave on your website.
Turn ON or OFF test mode using this option.
If this option is ON, test mode will be active and the visitor location will be simulated.
If this option is OFF, test mode will be inactive and the visitor location will be determined using IP address of the visitor
IMPORTANT: Remember to turn test mode OFF once testing is complete or else visitor IP to location will not work and all visitors will have a location equal to the simulated location.
Country name to be simulated. Start typing a country name and select a matching name from the drop down. This field can be left blank if country simulation is not required.
State name to be simulated. Start typing a state name and select a matching name from the drop down. This field can be left blank if state simulation is not required.
City name to be simulated. Start typing a city name and select a matching name from the drop down. This field can be left blank if city simulation is not required.
IP address to be simulated. This field can be left blank if IP address simulation is not required.
This button will create an additional Geo Redirect. You can create unlimited number of Geo Redirects.
This button removes the last created Geo Redirect.
This button will save the Geo Redirect setup for later use.
This button will exit the setup without saving.
