How it works
Check every entity signal you already have. The score is the weighted percentage of completed signals out of 100. We weight identity signals highest (Wikidata, Wikipedia, consistent naming) because they're what an assistant anchors its confidence on, and social proof / content signals slightly lower because they reinforce rather than establish.
Why entity authority decides who gets cited
An AI assistant doesn't pick citations by domain authority - it picks them by how confident it is about the entity making the claim. A brand with no Wikidata, no founder bio and no schema is a shape without a name; a brand with all three is a named, confident node the model can cite by name. Ship it
- Fix identity signals first (Wikidata, Wikipedia, canonical name). Identity infrastructure compounds everywhere else.
- Use the Brand Entity Builder and the Organization schema generator to ship the content layer quickly.
- Feed every signal into a single knowledge graph @graph on your homepage.
