Why six signals
- A single authority number is useless - you need the decomposition to know whether to invest in backlinks, schema, publish cadence or brand PR.
- Topical consistency is the signal most teams ignore - but an AI assistant weighs consistency 2x heavier than a single viral mention.
- Historical trust is the slowest signal to move - it's the reason 10-year-old domains outrank two-year-old domains with better content.
