How it works
Paste any URL. The checker parses it, inspects the host and path, and runs seven heuristic checks: HTTPS, known credible publisher, trusted TLD, suspect TLD patterns, tracking parameters, article path shape and meaningful depth.
Why this matters
When AI assistants build a response, they score each source individually before weighting it. A clean URL on a .gov or named publisher almost always beats a homepage link on an .info domain. Read how AI assistants choose citations for the full mechanism.
